In the mid-eighties he formed a new band Simcess Off Celeberty, with vocalist Thomas Negrijn and guitar player Anders Tofft, later to be known as Simcess.
The band enjoyed a huge success between 1985 -1992, made 2 great albums: Play With Your Life (1988) and The House (1990) and played huge festivals like the Roskilde Festival and the Midt-Fyns Festival along with venues in Sweden, the Netherlands and France.
